EastEnders stars Jessie Wallace and Lacey Turner will reveal what’s next for Kat Slater and Stacey Fowler in the second of next week’s three Secrets From The Square instalments.
Jessie and Lacey join Stacey Dooley next Tuesday (September 3) to take a look back at the history of the Slater clan.
The icons reminisce and re-watch some all-time classic Slater moments, including the shock reveal that Kat was Zoe’s (Michelle Ryan) mother and not her sister like we’d been led to believe.
They’ll also revisit the introduction of Jean (Gillian Wright) and discuss how this narrative showed Stacey in a whole new light.
What’s more, Lacey and Jessie will tease what’s ahead for the Slaters now that they’ll finally be back together when the soap returns on September 7.
Lacey recalls how she grew up moments from the EastEnders set, and how her wish to one day become a Slater came true. She’ll also open up about the day her real-life Nan turned up to watch her filming a scene.
The actress will reminisce about her very first day on set, which involved plenty of nerves, a long monologue and a dreaded sandwich filling.
Meanwhile, Jessie reveals how Kat’s legendary ‘You Ain’t My Mother’ scene could have been very different to what we saw on-screen, and both she and Lacey explain why they hate filming arguments between Kat and Stacey.
An instalment of Secrets From The Square is never complete without a cast member giving presenter Stacey a guided tour around one of Albert Square’s properties, and this time, it’s Lacey, who gives Stacey a look at the Slaters family’s crowded house.
