Lorraine: Cheryl Baker was ‘turned down’ for Eastenders role
EastEnders character Stacey Slater (played by Lacey Turner) previously resorted to selling photographers of herself in lingerie in order to pay her bills.
She was inspired to do it by Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) who started making money by selling pictures of his feet.
In upcoming scenes, Stacey desperately needs more money so she turns to the cameras again.
She’s left shaken when Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) announces he is moving out amid the Slater cash crisis.
When he realises Stacey is angry because of losing his financial contribution, he makes it right by giving her four weeks’ worth of money as notice.
As Alfie, Stacey and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) share a warm moment talking about his future, Freddie rocks up.
Freddie announces he is moving into Alfie’s new flat, leaving him dumbstruck.
But how will Stacey cope without Alfie’s financial contributions?
