STACEY Slater certainly knows how to pick her partners in EastEnders.
The cleaner – who is played by actress Lacey Turner in the BBC soap – was recently released from prison and returned home with a brand new wife.
But after a doomed marriage with Martin Fowler, an affair with Max Branning, her new wife, though strictly platonic, is a violent drunk.
And viewers watched last week as Jean brought in her son Sean to see Eve off.
He convinced her to leave Stacey with her family and to take her chaos elsewhere, much to Stacey’s fury.
Now next week Stacey will finally track Eve down – and it’s not good news.
Still worried about their living situation, Stacey asks Kheerat to speak to Suki but she’s interrupted by a phone call and panics.
She finds Eve drunk at the café, having a go at Suki as Eve reveals that she’s meeting her probation officer.
Stacey takes Eve home, desperate to sober her up. When the probation officer arrives, Jean covers for her.
Suki and Kheerat appear as the probation officer is leaving.

Jean overhears and tells Kat she’s a good person but they couldn’t mess up her relationship.
Later, Jean has a word to Phil – don’t make Kat choose between him and her family.
What will he decide to do?
