EastEnders' Lola Pearce makes heart-breaking return to soap beyond the grave in milestone Lexi scene tonight | The Sun

EASTENDERS will air a heartbreaking scene tonight as tragic Lola Pearce will return from beyond the grave.

The moment on the BBC One soap will see Lexi – played by Isabella Brown – reunite with her mum ahead of her first day at school.

Lexi has been grieving her mum ever since she passed away from a brain tumour earlier this year.

Lola (Danielle Harold) died peacefully with Lexi and husband Jay by her side but will make a one-off return to the soap tonight in a moving moment.

As she prepares to embark on her first day at secondary school, Ben Mitchell calls her over to 'deliver a message' from her mum.

As Lexi sits beside him, he presses play on a video where Lola wishes her luck on the milestone day.

Lola will be left on the verge of tears as she continues to deliver her message: "Be kind – or just be yourself, because you are kind. And funny. And beautiful.
