Phil Mitchell became an unlikely midwife in tonight’s EastEnders when Kim Hubbard started giving birth in a storeroom.
The hardman demanded Kim show him her stuffing in the storeroom, after he realised Sharon had left a couple of items off the Christmas Day cooking list.
She got up on a chair to grab the box from the top shelf, but suddenly came onto the floor with a thud as she felt something start to happen in her womb.
Phil failed at his end of the bargain – holding the door open – meaning the storeroom locked, and he was left trying to talk a woman through labour.
He called the ambulance service and they tried their best to assist over the phone, but when it came to looking "down there," Kim threatened Phil with his life if he even considered it.
After a while, Phil was forced to do some feeling around and even some looking, pulling some hilarious faces in the process.
Fans were loving this, with many taking to social media to share their enjoyment.

But the hilarious labour led to the birth of a cute baby boy, to be brother to Pearl.
Sadly it was tinged with sadness as Kim gave birth without the baby’s dad, Vincent, who mysteriously disappeared, and judging by Phil’s face, he knew all about it.
