EastEnders cast reveals clue to Christmas death victim hidden in NTA outfits | The Sun

SOAP fans are at the edge of their seats months ahead of Walford Christmas murder mystery.

One EastEnders favourite dropped revealed a huge secret about the storyline while attending the National Television Awards last night.

BBC One viewers were stunned when the upcoming plot was teased in a spine-chilling flashforward scene in February, 2023.

This scene included six of Albert Square's most beloved ladies, with one of them being soap legend Sharon Watts (played by Letitia Dean).

The blonde bombshell was seen wearing a sumptuous wedding dress as she crouched over the body of an unnamed dead man next to the Vic's Christmas tree.

An unknown victim, the man was shown sporting a suit and cufflinks, the only touch of individuality that could lead fans to figure out who he is ahead of time.

However, soap bosses decided to make it harder for fans as Keanu Taylor star Danny Walters explained last night (Tuesday, September 5, 2023).

The 30-year-old spoke to The Sun while attending the NTAs at London's O2 Arena and revealed that bosses had the intention of dropping a small hint to the storyline with the actors' outfits.

They had the intention of pushing ten different male actors to wear the cufflinks as a nod to the storyline.

"I think tonight there is 10 other male actors they wanted to put the cufflinks on. I think it’s smart, you’re teasing the audience", Danny explained.

Speaking about his own on-screen alter ego, he added: "I play things at the moment for the character. He is involved in a lot of complex deep stuff with Sharon and other members of the cast."

"I don’t know what will happen but I am enjoying playing the characters."

But in a candid moment, Danny admitted he was worried for the fate of his character as Keanu Taylor is one of the many names mentioned by fans as the potential victim.

Since the whodunnit was teased, viewers have been going mad in an attempt to figure out who could be killed off during the festive season.

Ian Beale star Adam Woodyatt himself also spoke about the cufflinks while questioned about his return to our screens as the iconic businessman.

"Now that he is back, he needs to avoid Sharon cooking carbonara and his mum getting him cufflinks for Christmas", he said.

Yet a handful of fans are convinced he could be the dead body found in the Vic due to his connection with Cindy Beale aka Rose Knight.

The Beale patriarch was added onto the list of potential victims alongside Nish Panesar, Keanu Taylor, Dean Wicks, Ryan Malloy, Phil Mitchell, George Knight and Ravi Gulati.

When she was questioned about the storyline in February, 2023, Kellie Bright speculated that viewers had not yet been acquainted with the potential victim.

"I had a very strong feeling, or more of an idea that the victim was going to be a really big player in this show and I’ve slightly changed my mind, and I think it might be someone who is not in the show yet", she said.
