Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver has landed in Australia to join the star-studded cast of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

She is among some of the big names that will be taking part in the ITV series which had finally returned to its home in the heart of Australia.

Over the past three years, contestants were forced to live through the brutally cold Welsh winter in Gwrych Castle.

Luckily, the soap star will be able to soak up the sun in the gruelling camp along with their fellow campmates on the show.

She is known for playing the role of Eileen Grimshaw on the ITV soap which she has held onto since 2000.

The news comes after soap fans raised the alarm when Antony Cotton shared a sweet snap with his co-stars inside the loving home of number 11.

In the collage of snaps, the actor could be seen beaming on the stairs alongside Sue, Jodoe Prenger, Tony Maudsley, Gareth Pierce, Liam McCheyne and Patti Clare.

Fans of the long-standing show couldn't help but point out the odd family portrait on social media as they shared their suspicions online.

It is now understood the blonde bombshell will be taking a break from the Cobbles as she puts her bravery to the test on the gruelling ITV show.

Accompanying Sue in the jungle is former Love Island star Olivia Attwood was announced as the first female contestant set to step into the jungle this year.

The blonde bombshell, 31, touched down in Brisbane on Tuesday morning as she beamed to the cameras with a suitcase in hand ready for the winter reality show.

Over the next four weeks she will be ditching her cosy life in the UK for the brutal Australian jungle where she will be pushed to her limits to conquer her fears of creepy crawlies as well as eating questionable food.

After landing in sunny Australia, the TV star told reporters that one of main things she would miss while she is in the jungle would be going four weeks without sex.

When asked what she would miss most from home, she said: “It is day one at the minute so I'm not missing much. But three or four days in the dogs and my fiancé probably.

“I mean four weeks and no sh***ing – what can you do?!”

But she won’t be doing it alone, after radio host Chris Moyles was also announced to be joining the cast Down Under.

The 48-year-old DJ will be joining the TOWIE star in the camp as he boasted that jungle critters and snakes won’t both him during his stay.

According to The Sun, the breakfast host reassured himself: “There’s lots of everything in this country, like sport and beer and I am not scared of sport or beer. So, I think I will be alright.”

On his way out of the airport, the Radio X DJ, 48, made an unusual cry for help after he landed in Australia.

He was spotted wearing a cheeky bracelet which read 'Chris…Get me out' on it as he flashed his new accessory to the cameras.

It is unsure if the message was meant to be serious or in jest but ITV bosses have been trying to recruit the Radio One star for years.
