Over the past few months, ITV viewers have watched as barmaid Daisy Midgeley (played by Charlotte Jordan) has been busy planning her wedding to Daniel Osborne (Rob Mallard) while being stalked by Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still) Speaking to Express.co.uk, actress Charlotte Jordan revealed everything goes horribly wrong on the big day.
Things haven’t been easy for the bride-to-be as she’s had to constantly look over her shoulder in fear of her stalker Justin lurking around.
After bombarding her with flowers and messages, he escalated his ways of getting to her after taking on a delivery job to know her address and following her to a wedding fair.
Although the police have proven to be unhelpful with her situation, Daisy and Daniel decided to take action and came up with a plan to get Justin away from them.
Purposely goading him to get a reaction, Daisy called him a freak and Justin saw red as he lunged towards her which resulted in Officer Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) arresting him.
With her stalker now in police custody Daisy can focus on her wedding, although when speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, actress Charlotte teased it all goes downhill.
After her mother, Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) chose to tell her daughter at the hen do that all Midgeley women don’t have good weddings and they’re cursed, Daisy tries to shrug it off.
However, her mother may have been right, as Charlotte said: “She wakes up and she’s got a red eye.
“The wedding cake’s got the wrong name on it, the wedding car gets stolen and the dress isn’t quite fitting right. So, everything that can go wrong, goes wrong.
Official spoilers for scenes set to air next week reveal Justin decides to cruelly attack the bride-to-be with acid before she heads down the aisle.
The sinister act of revenge is set to unfold when Daisy is getting ready to leave The Rovers for the last time as Miss Midgeley before marrying Daniel.
With Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) stepping in to be the wedding chauffeur, after her string of bad luck, the pair are horrified to see Justin lurking in the shadows of the pub.

In preparation for the harrowing storyline, Coronation Street has worked alongside The Katie Piper Foundation and Acid Survivors Trust International (ASTI).
The ITV soap has decided to tell this story in order to highlight the devastating impact and long-lasting effects of such heinous attacks.
Speaking about tackling this storyline, Coronation Street Producer Iain MacLeod said: “We were keen to show the long-term reality for people who are subjected to this kind of attack. It is something we might often read about in the papers but perhaps don’t fully understand, in terms of the depth and variety of effects it can have.
“As well as the medical impacts, we explore the social fallout of having your appearance profoundly changed, both in terms of your own ability to process that and how the wider world reacts to you.
“The story will at times be heartbreaking but we felt it was an important one to tell.”
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm
