Coronation Street spoilers – Corrie fans switch channels over 'embarrassing' scene; plus EastEnders & Emmerdale news

CORRIE fans were left cringing last night as Amy Barlow and boyfriend Jacob shared an "embarrassing" on-screen kiss.

Amy invited boyfriend Jacob Hay for lunch with her disapproving parents Tracy and Steve – who are not best pleased with their daughter dating the former drug dealer.

After their less than pleasant meal, the scene became even more toe-curling when Any and Jacob said goodbye at the table in front of her parents -with a long, sloppy snog that seemed to last for hours.

And it left Corrie fans squirming uncomfortably in their seats.

@MamaAlbert74 said: "I switched it over and said that our cat had hit the remote control."

Meanwhile, @marleyj48905500 tweeted: "I felt slightly embarrassed just watching it! Very funny! Amy is definitely her mother's daughter!"
