Bradley Walsh, 60, was on hand to help four new contestants work their way through The Chase in the hope they would walk away with a share of the jackpot prize. Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, 60, was the quizmaster on hand to make the contestants sweat and as the game played out, he took on his amateur opponents. However, after being beaten by player Steven, the latter decided he didn’t want to talk to the host of the ITV programme and swiftly walked away.
After accumulating £5,000 during his cash-builder round, Steven went on to answer a number of questions against Shaun.
The contestant completed the head-to-head with ease and brought the jackpot up to £9,000 after the first player, Krissy, has kicked things off by adding £4,000 to the bank.
Usually, Bradley likes to have a debrief with the Chaser and the contestant about how they think they performed against one another.
However, before he could even turn around, the host was gobsmacked to see Steven reuniting with his team on the other side of the studio.
“Talk about a wide-birth,” the presenter remarked in shock, adding: “I know we have to social distance but that’s a bit extreme.”
