BGT child stars Connie Talbot, Bars and Melody and Natalie Okri look unrecognisable on This Morning

Four Britain's Got Talent stars looked almost unrecognisable on This Morning as they’re all grown up after appearing on the show as children.

Connie Talbot, Bars and Melody & Natalie Okri appeared on the talent show in 2007, 2014 and 2009 respectively, wowing audiences with their musical performances.

Now all in their 20s, the former child singers sat down with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary to reveal how their lives had changed since appearing on the show.

Connie Talbot, now 22, wowed audiences when she appeared on the talent show at the age of six and has gone on to have a successful singing career, releasing five albums after wining the show in 2007.

Looking back at the show from the This Morning sofa, Connie said: "It feels like it was the beginning of my life – I don't really remember anything before that.

"I remember bits of the show but I really wanted to be on The X Factor and obviously I was too young.

"It just started as a fun day out and it's given me a career today which is incredible."

The singer was also recently reunited with Ant and Dec – seventeen years on from when they last met on the show.

Connie was joined by Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan, now 22 and 24, who found fame as rap duo Bars and Melody on the show in 2014.

The pair were just 13 and 15 when they appeared on the series and made it to third place after judge Simon Cowell pressed the golden buzzer for them.

Despite not winning the show, the pair have continued to release music and tour around the country.

Leondre said: "We didn't know what we were signing up to, we had nothing to lose.

"We've been non-stop since Britain's Got Talent. Covid was a slow down for everyone but we'd been relentlessly touring up until that point."

Also on the sofa was Natalie Okri, 24, who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 at the age of ten.

She became a fan favourite after surprising audiences with a stunning rendition of Alicia Keys’ No One – and shared how her appearance on the show kick-started the singing career she has today.

Natalie said: "My new single Fire is coming out on 31 March, I've been releasing music, performing, travelling and performing on cruise ships."

She also added that it was Connie who inspired her to go on the show in the first place.

Natalie added: “I was like 'oh my gosh, mummy look at that girl, she's amazing!'"
