He is no stranger to competition having won the World Chocolate Masters along with other medals and has even judged competitions himself.

Aline & Nina

Aline not only set up The Pink Kitchen but also ran courses teaching how to make cakes.

The pair met when Nina took one of Aline's courses and now work together in The Pink Kitchen.

At a young age, Aline began baking with her mother and learnt the basics of chocolate work, she's hoping these skills will help her win Bake Off: The Professionals.

I Shan & Jojo

Graphic designer turned patissier, I Shan, helped build a Van Gogh inspired tea room with her pastry compositions.

Taiwanese I Shan met good friend Jojo while working at the five-star Hotel Cafe Royal in London.

Jojo's love of baking began as she grew up in the Philippines and the pair believe their creativity and skill could take them to the top.

Nathan & Kevin

With a career spanning over 20 years, Nathan has worked in Paris country clubs and patisseries as well as London's Harrods.

Kevin, hailing from Nantes, France, also has an impressive CV with time spent at Harrods, The Dorchester and Shangri-La since 2016.

Nathan has also taken on a master's degree and hopes Kevin can help him win the crown.

Dinesh & Ben

Gloucestershire based Dinesh and Ben are hoping to wow with military precision.

Dinesh moved from Mauritius to join the British Army and served for eight years, winning 14 medals for culinary competitions during that time.

Ben dreams of opening his own patisserie and is also training for his helicopter license.

Robert & Mireia

Working together for 18 months, Robert and Mireia work together at the historic Levens Hall in Cumbria.

Robert spent time working at prestigious London kitchens before settling in Cumbria for a rural life with his family.

Mireia, hailing from Barcelona, has won international awards for her patisserie skills.

Sara and Giovanni

Italian duo Sara and Giovanni have an impressive career in pastry backing their bid for the win.

Over 17 years Sara has worked in a range of high-end London establishments like the Shangri-La and Soho House.

Giovanni worked under the tutelage of Paco Torreblanca before moving to the UK and working with Sara's husband, who introduced the pair.
