Zlatan Ibrahimovic says Chelsea star Cesar Azpilicueta 'has no balls' and he MEANT vicious shoulder charge on defender

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has accused Cesar Azpilicueta of having ‘no balls’ as he refused to apologise for his vicious shoulder charge.

Ibrahimovic clattered into the Chelsea defender during Sweden’s World Cup qualifier defeat to Spain earlier in November.

The veteran forward was booked as a result and will miss Sweden’s play-off semi-final game to qualify for next year’s Qatar tournament.

Sweden will discover their opponents when the draw is made on Friday.

But Ibrahimovic insisted he has no regrets as he claimed he was sticking up for a team-mate targeted by Azpilicueta

He told the Guardian: “The other day in the national team, I gave a tackle to (Azpilicueta). I did it on purpose.

“I’m not ashamed to say it because he did something stupid to my player. Acting big to my player.

“It was a stupid thing but I would still do it to make him understand: ‘You don’t f***ing do that.

“‘You don’t have balls to do it against me. But I will show you what happens if you do it to me.’ That’s why I did it.”

Spain edged the Group B clash 1-0, meaning Sweden must now rely on a qualifying shoot-out to reach the main event in Qatar.

Ibrahimovic was unapologetic in an extraordinary interview that also saw him take a swipe at former club Manchester United.

The 40-year-old accused the Red Devils of living in the past as they search desperately for a manager to match the success of Sir Alex Ferguson.

He told his old club: “You have to think about the present or you should go to a hospital and clean your head.”
