Watch Scottie Scheffler's wife Meredith breaks down in tears on live TV as he is roared onto 18th green at Masters

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER'S wife Meredith Scudder cried with joy as her man was roared onto the 18th green at the Masters last night.

The American, 25, secured victory at Augusta with a brilliant showing to beat off competition from the likes of Rory McIlroy.

As she watched her man receive plenty of backing from the American crowd, Meredith got tearful as he neared the finish line.

Scheffler secured victory on the 18th, despite a nervy four-putt to finish things off.

After his triumph, he said: "I tried to keep my head down and execute shots.

"I knew if I took care of my stuff and played solid stuff, I'd get the job done.
