UFC president Dana White has sent a touching message to Khabib Nurmagomedov's dad after reports he is in a critical condition.
Abdulmanap has reportedly been put in a coma in a Moscow military hospital after suffering complications with pneumonia.
The 57-year-old has played a huge role in Khabib's success having coached the UFC lightweight champion for most of his undefeated career.
Taking to Twitter, White said: "Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov is a true martial artist who lives a life of pride, honour and respect.
"He instilled those same values in his son, world champion Khabib, at an early age and was always in his corner throughout his career.
"I know how close Khabib is with his father and I’m saddened to hear about his current state.
"My thoughts are with Abdulmanap and the Nurmagomedov family as he continues to fight."
Abdulmanap fell ill in his home town in Dagestan and was taken to the capital via a "special flight."
The UFC world has continued to share their well-wishes including Khabib's fierce enemy Conor McGregor.
Putting their rivalry aside, the Notorious wrote: "Praying for the recovery of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.
"A man responsible for more world champions, across multiple fighting disciplines, than we even know.
"A true martial genius! Very saddened upon hearing this news tonight.
"Praying for the Nurmagomedov family at this time."
Abdulmanap's health battle was made public when his close friend and sports commentator Ramazan Rabadanov revealed the news last month.
He said: “Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov fell ill.
“He almost managed to equip the park, took out the garbage, planted an alley of new trees, put beautiful benches along the paths, and yesterday he did not come to the park.
“I hope pneumonia doesn’t really hook my friend and he will come to the park again.”
