Mark Sanchez, to the delight over everyone on Twitter who's not a Redskins fan, made his return to the field Monday night after Colt McCoy left with a season-ending injury.
And it didn't take long for Sanchez to delight those on social media because this happened: The ol' butt fumble … recovery!
The original Butt Fumble, of course, became one of the NFL's most infamous plays when Sanchez ran into his own offensive lineman on a Thanksgiving night game against the New England Patriots in 2012. On that play he lost the ball in comical fashion and watched the Patriots take it back to the house.
