STEVE BRUCE'S tenure as Newcastle manager is drawing towards a conclusion.

But that price has crashed to odds-on 1/3 as the club's long-awaited Saudi takeover inches towards completion.
A long-standing row over TV piracy has been resolved, bringing an end to 18 months of deadlock after Mike Ashley initially agreed to sell in April 2020.
The Saudi-led consortium will have an 80 per cent controlling stake and with Ashley out of the picture – Bruce could be the first casualty of a new era on Tyneside.

Their latest defeat to Wolves sparked criticism from Newcastle's fans at Molineux, who chanted for him to leave the club.
Eddie Howe is the current favourite to replace Bruce, although there are plenty of big names being linked including Antonio Conte, Frank Lampard and Zinedine Zidane.
Tottenham's Nuno Espirito Santo is second favourite at 7/1.
The Portuguese secured a much-needed win over Aston Villa before the international break to relieve the pressure after three-consecutive league defeats.

Ranieri is the Hornets' 14th managerial change under the Pozzo family since they took over in 2012.
