A LIVERPOOL restaurant has sparked rumours that Philippe Coutinho is set for a return to the city.
The Brazilian dazzled the Anfield faithful for five years, before moving to Barcelona in January 2018.
But things haven't gone to plan for the attacking midfielder in LaLiga.
He is currently one of a number of players up for sale at Barcelona, as the Catalan club desperately try and balance their books.
And the Copacabana Bar and Grill in Liverpool appear to be hinting that his future lies in the city.
They posted an image of Coutinho visiting their restaurant.
And they captioned it: "We can't wait to welcome you back and start making special memories with you once again @phil.coutinho."
The post was noticed by eagle-eyed fans on social media, sending some into a frenzy.
One commented: "Coutinho to Liverpool??"
While another wrote: "Joining Everton yeah."
A Reds fan cheekily added: "I’ll leave you 10-15 terrible reviews a day if you let Coutinho go to Goodison Park."
The 29-year-old last played in December, after suffering a nasty meniscus tear.
In total he made just 14 appearances for Barcelona last term.

As he looks to kickstart his career, his agent Kia Joorabchian has previously confirmed Coutinho's interest in returning to England.
He said: "I’ve always said he loves to play in the Premier League.
"He enjoyed his time very much and if the opportunity arises to come back to the Premier League, whether it be this year or in the future, he’s definitely looking at that."
