A MASSIVE par 5 measuring a gargantuan 773 yards will be in play for pros this week – but it's still not the longest hole on tour.
The TPC Colorado Championship at Heron Lakes on the Korn Ferry Tour – golf's equivalent of the Championship in the US – boasts one of golf's longest holes.
Justin Thomas has the record for the longest drive on the PGA Tour this season at a huge 457 yards.
But even if some of the pros were to crank one out of equal length this week they would be left with a huge 316 yards to the hole.
Good job, then, that players can really open their shoulders and give it a good biff off the tee on the 13th hole at Heron Lakes.
The fairway is wide open but it is the second job that provides some thought.
Competitors can either try to take on 'Hell Bunker' or be forced to lay up – but even that leaves 200 yards to go.
Heron Lakes is clearly a course that suits long hitters, with the first hole being a 635 yard par 5.
The only relief? The course is in Colorado and played at altitude, meaning the air is thinner and the ball flies further.
Incredibly, though, this 773 yard brute is not the longest the pros get to play.
Last week pros on the Challenge Tour took on the monster 783 yard 15th at the D+D Real Challenge in Slovakia – the longest hole in professional golf.

The catch is that the hole actually plays as a par 6, meaning the 13th at Heron Lakes is the longest par 5 the pros will face.
But it is still a pitch and putt compared to the longest in the world.
That honour goes to the 1,100-yard par 7 at Gunsan Country Club in South Korea.
