CRISTIANO RONALDO paid a touching tribute to his son on Ronnie Jr’s 12th birthday.
And the Manchester United star even hinted that they could yet play together on the pitch.
Ronaldo Jr is the oldest of Ronaldo’s five children.
And he is following his famous father’s footsteps by looking to become a professional footballer.
Ronnie Jr is lighting up Manchester United’s academy side along with Wayne Rooney’s lad Kai.
And Ronaldo hailed his son in a heartwarming birthday post on Instagram by hinting at a future partnership on the pitch.

Posting a picture of the pair together on a plane, Ronaldo said: “Happy birthday my son.
“How does time go by? Will we still play together?
“The most important thing is to continue being the boy you are with a huge heart!
“Best of luck, puppy! Daddy loves you very much.”

Ronnie Jr is brother to Eva, 5, Matteo, 5, Alana Martina, 4, and Bella, two-months.
The kids joined Ronaldo and partner Georgina Rodriguez for a well-earned break after the football season came to an end.
But the family was hit by tragedy in April after Ronaldo announced the loss of Bella’s twin in childbirth.
As for Ronnie’s future, he remains contracted to Manchester United for one more season.
