CHELSEA are reportedly favourites to sign Jack Grealish this summer but it could come at a hefty £100m cost.

Elsewhere, Man City are said to be stepping up their pursuit of Erling Haalsnd, while Tottenham are keen on Domenico Berardi.

    France defeated Germany 1-0 at the Allianz Arena in the biggest game of Euro 2020’s opening round of fixtures.

    The Tricolores broke the deadlock just after 20 minutes when Paul Pogba delivered a wonderful ball to Theo Hernandez down the left flank and he hammered a low cross into the penalty area.

    Mats Hummels got his body position all wrong and turned the ball past his own goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

    The world champions thought they had doubled their lead on two occasions in the second half.

    First, it was Kylian Mbappe who beat Neuer with an stunning curling shot from the edge of the box but was caught offside.

    Then Pogba slid the ball down the right wing for Mbappe, who then switched with Karim Benzema.

    Benzema hit the back of the net but that strike was also ruled out as the Paris Saint-Germain superstar was offside before producing the assist

    According to Football London, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has been a long-term admirer of Maddison.

    Portugal beat Hungary 3-0 at the Puskas Arena in their Euro 2020 kick-off match.

    The reigning European champions struggled with a strong opponent who had a goal disallowed as Szabolcs Schon was caught offside.

    But Fernando Santos’ men broke the deadlock in the last 10 minutes of the match when Raphael Guerreiro beat Peter Gulacsi after 84 minutes.

    Rafa Silva was then fouled by Willi Orban inside the box and Cristiano Ronaldo scored from the spot just three minutes later.

    Arsenal target Raheem Sterling is going to hold talks with Manchester City over a new deal after Euro 2020.

    That is according to the Daily Telegraph, who claim City boss Pep Guardiola still holds Sterling in high regard despite the high competition in attacking positions.

    Manchester City ace Joao Cancelo has been ruled out of Euro 2020 after testing positive for COVID-19.

    Cancelo has been replaced by Manchester United loanee Diogo Dalot in the Portugal national squad .

    The defender tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday and is “doing well” after being placed in isolation.

    The reigning European champions stated: “In accordance with the COVID-19 protocol defined by UEFA before the Euro 2020 matches, all players and members of the entourage underwent RT-PCR tests on Saturday.

    Mahrez has been enjoying his holiday in the Greek island of Mykonoswith a group of friends, one of which is Haaland.

    And the West Ham ace has also been compared to iconic ex-Hammer Michael Carrick.

    Former Chelsea and Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is keen on bringing the German to the Bernabeu as he plots a rebuild.

    The 24-year-old has a contract at the Rome-based club until the summer of 2024.

    And he was recently forced to pull out of Mancini's Italy Euros squad through injury.

    Tottenham will have to try and take Pellegrini off former boss Mourinho's hands.
