WEST HAM missed out on a place in the Europa League after blowing their lead against Brighton.
Pascal Gross hit the winner 10 minutes from time to leave the Hammers with the consolation of the Europa Conference League.
The away side had taken the lead after a brilliant effort from the edge of the box by Michail Antonio found the net from range.
But his effort was canceled out after Lukasz Fabianski fumbled a shot by Joel Veltman just before half-time.
Danny Welbeck then put a cherry on top of the cake for Brighton by scoring in stoppage time.
