ITALIAN giants Inter and AC Milan have joined Fenerbahce in the race to land Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil, according to reports.
The 30-year-old's career in north London is all-but-over – with the German thought to have put his £10million mansion up for sale ahead of a January move away from the Gunners.
Ozil has been unsettled at Arsenal this season having been involved in a car-jacking this summer, prompting him to increase security at his home.
On top of that, his appearances this season have been limited to a start in the Premier League draw against Watford and the 5-0 Carabao Cup win at home to Nottingham Forest.
And Unai Emery is now actively looking to offload him in the upcoming January transfer window, with Ozil still pocketing £350,000-a-week wages.
According to reports from Italian outlet Calciomercato, AC Milan and local rivals Inter are both interested in signing the midfielder.
But one major problem in any potential San Siro switch, though, remains Ozil's extortionate wage demands, which far exceeds the highest-paid players at both Serie A clubs.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has been left out of Arsenal's last three matchday squads and was thought to be in talks about a loan to Fenerbahce.
And it has been claimed that the Gunners are willing to ship him off on loan in the New Year – and are even prepared to pay him to leave.
