GIANFRANCO ZOLA believes that Tammy Abraham may find it hard to adjust in the Premier League after spending most of his career in the Championship.
The Chelsea striker was on loan to Swansea in the top-flight two years ago, but netted just five times in the Prem.
Abraham started against Man Utd at Old Trafford, and was unlucky not to score having hit the post early on.
Speaking of the youngster, Zola told beIN Sports: “Maybe in the beginning he might suffer because you know the difference from the Championship and the Premier League is huge.
“He will have to adapt but he has a lot of energy, he’s positive.
“I think in the end he will get to the level he needs to be.”
CHELSEA are reportedly considering rushing defender Antonio Rudiger back ahead of schedule after the thumping at Manchester United.
The German international, 26, was forced to undergo knee surgery earlier this year that ruled him out of the end of last season.
The Blues’ clash with Wolves on September 14 was believed to be the date pencilled in for his return.
But the Daily Mail claim Chelsea will considering bringing forward the comeback amid the late defensive collapse at Old Trafford as Frank Lampard lost 4-0 in his first game as manager.
FRANK LAMPARD has revealed he is feeling optimistic going into the Super Cup clash against Liverpool.
Speaking at a press conference, the Chelsea boss said: “I’m optimistic because I believe in the players and the fact that we are here in the final because we deserve to be.
“I’m very understanding of the quality of the opposition in Liverpool, the team that deservedly won the Champions League, who have a fantastic manager and group of players, but if we play to our maximum we can win the match”.
He added: “I’m very proud to be managing this team. But we know it’s going to be a big test”.

PEDRO talks about Abraham and says "I really trust him".
Speaking at the press conference ahead of the Super Cup final, Pedro said: “I've known Tammy for a long time from when he was in the academy. I saw him training and on loan saw his improvement. His strength was to be in the Chelsea first team. He got a chance to be here because he deserves it. In pre-season, he has worked very hard. He was very close to start very well”.
Pedro added: “He is a player who has a great talent, work rate and that goal could have helped for the confidence, but I really trust him.”
