MANCHESTER UNITED secured back-to-back wins with a 3-1 triumph over Norwich City.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now turns his attentions to Chelsea in a huge Carabao Cup match this week.

    Both penalties were awarded after dubious looking VAR interventions.

    And both were subsequently saved by Canaries keeper Tim Krul – Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial fluffing their lines from 12 yards.

    United next face Chelsea in a massive Carabao Cup tie this week at Stamford Bridge.

    Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer joked after Rashford's penalty miss, which was given following a dubious VAR call: “The first one I don't think is a penalty, if it takes two minutes it's not clear and obvious. But Marcus [Rashford] did the honourable thing and missed it.

    Solskjaer added after United won for the second time in a week: “Delighted with the whole team, but to just see Marcus chasing the ball down with Max Aarons in a 50-yard sprint and just tackle in front of a dugout is the best response you can ask from a player.”

    Daniel James also netted in the win at Carrow Road, while Onel Hernandez pulled one back for the Canaries.

    Rashford, 21, netted his 50th goal for United in the win and tweeted: “Good three points and very proud to reach 50 goals for @ManUtd.

    “Happy to tee up @AnthonyMartial too. Great to have you back bro”
