TOTTENHAM are set to spend £80million this week as they close in on Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso, it has been claimed.

According to the Daily Star the deals for the pair could be finalised by the end of the week.

And Fulham youngster Sessegnon could be a tailor-made replacement for Danny Rose who also looks to be on his way out.

TOTTENHAM goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has been sent home from their pre-season tour in Asia with tonsillitis.

The club captain, 32, did not play in yesterday’s 3-2 win over Juventus at Singapore’s National Stadium.

Fellow stopper Paulo Gazzaniga kept guard instead against the Italians.

The Spurs squad flew on the 9.45am Singapore Airlines Flight to Shanghai today.

But the World Cup winner returned to London to recover.

Frenchman Lloris complained of feeling unwell after arriving in the Far East last Thursday and did not train in Asia.

But Spurs confirmed he is expected to return to training following the friendly match against Manchester United in three days’ time.

ARSENAL are looking to beat Spurs twice in a week by completing the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.

The North London rivals are both keen to take Spanish Under-21 international Ceballos on loan for the new season.

But Arsenal are convinced they are going to win the scrap to bring the highly-rated midfielder to the Emirates even though they cannot offer him Champions League football.

And that would be another morale-boosting victory for the Gunners after securing a £27million deal for young defender William Saliba despite Tottenham’s best efforts to hijack the signing.

Real boss Zinedine Zidane has given the green light for Ceballos, 22, to leave on loan but has made it clear that the player still has a future at the Bernabeu.

He believes that he will benefit from the experience of playing regular Premier League football and wants him back in La Liga next summer.

Talks with Arsenal are at an advanced stage and will continue when the two clubs meet in the International Champions Cup in Washington on Tuesday.
