When you’re ferried in limos and have jetset tans who needs tights?

Brrr! It’s the bare-legged brigade: Temperatures may be plummeting but when you’re ferried in limos and have jetset tans – like Meghan, Holly and Michelle – who needs tights to brave the winter chill?

  • Glamourous celebrities weren’t afraid to show off their pins in freezing weather
  • Meghan Markle seen bare-legged at the National Theatre in 1C temperatures
  • Amanda Holden braved a shivery red carpet in a kimono-style gown and sandals

Fashion designer Ivanka, 37, knows the importance of looking good, and clearly thinks that being cold is a small price to pay for it.

She shunned hosiery (and a coat) when walking to her Secret Service vehicle in Washington last month.

Her knee-length grey skirt suit and low-cut black camisole, paired with glamorous heels, were no match for the chilly temperatures, which dropped to 1.6c.

Perhaps it had been a while since the President’s pampered daughter had set foot outside, and she wasn’t quite aware how cold it had become.

Still, at least she didn’t have far to go in the freezing weather.

Like her father, Ivanka travels everywhere in super-exclusive cars fitted with high-tech heating to keep her snug.

NICOLE SCHERZINGER

Former Pussycat Doll Nicole, 40, paid no heed to the arctic conditions in New York this week, heading to an interview at the Build Series studios in this tight-fitting brown leather dress.

Despite the city being in the grip of the polar vortex — with her waiting fans sensibly bundled up in coats and hats — she braved the bare-leg look, letting her coat drape open to show off her dress.

She finished off the outfit with spike-heeled ankle boots, which didn’t offer much protection from the biting cold, either.

Temperatures had dropped to a teeth-chattering -6c — even colder than parts of Antarctica — but that didn’t stop Nicole from flashing eight inches of calf.

Understandably, the look on her face is more of a grimace.

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY

Bracing herself against the early morning chill, presenter Holly Willoughby showed off the ultimate ‘Jan tan’ outside the This Morning studios on Thursday, donning a tartan coat from High Street store Hobbs and a red Whistles dress.

But with the temperature dropping as low as -5.5c in parts of London this week, the stylish outfit, revealing her bronzed legs, can only be admired through gritted teeth.

Holly, 37, has been criticised for her heavily tanned legs in the past, with some viewers branding the tan ‘fake’ on social media.

However, after a recent presenting stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in Australia, her perfect pins look genuinely sun-kissed.

JENNIFER CONNELLY

American actress Jennifer, 48, seemed to think she was still in sun-drenched LA rather than c-c-cold London on Thursday night. She paired this curious white cut-out dress, cinched in at the waist, with black lace-up boots and bare legs at a film premiere.

A fitness fanatic, Jennifer loves any excuse to flaunt her muscly calves and slim thighs — and both were on display at the event in Leicester Square, despite the near-freezing temperatures.

Indeed, even the carpet rolled out for the A-listers at the premiere for her new movie, Alita: Battle Angel, reflected the chilly conditions — it was blue, rather than the typical red.

THE DUCHESS OF SUSSEX

Meghan, 37, flaunted her perfect pins at London’s National Theatre this week, in a pretty peach ensemble.

Pregnant women are less prone to feeling the cold, but the rise in their core body temperature doesn’t usually extend to the limbs. Meghan seems keen to show she’s as stylish as ever.

CAROLINE FLACK

Love Island host Caroline is no stranger to the bare-leg brigade. Indeed, it’s hard to recall a time when she has worn tights in public.

The presenter, 39, who wore this cut-out number to last week’s National Television Awards in London, seems to believe she’s still in scorching Majorca, where Love Island is filmed.

Her perma-tanned legs think so, too. Here’s hoping that she doesn’t catch a pneumonia.

Actress Jennifer Connelly, Meghan Markle and Caroline Flack were also spotted flaunting their pins in stunning ensembles this week

AMANDA HOLDEN

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda, 47, braved a shivery red carpet for the show’s auditions in London last week.

Her golden, kimono-style gown and strappy nude sandals exposed her bare legs to the cool evening air, but the fashion-conscious Amanda chose to prioritise her beautiful frock over her numbed limbs.

It must be a case of mind over matter for the star, with the sunshine glow of that dress keeping her thoughts — and her smile — sunny.

EMILY ATACK

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Emily appeared to have forgotten she was in chilly London when selecting her outfit for the National Television Awards.

This sleek black dress featured a daring thigh-high split, so her legs were on full display as she strutted down the red carpet. The chic halter-neck style meant she even dared to bare her shoulders.

It gave actress Emily, 29 — who once said she’d never appear in public without fake tan — the ideal opportunity to show off her enviable January glow.

MICHELLE KEEGAN

Actress Michelle, 31, donned this barely-there ensemble for the National Television Awards in London, seemingly unaffected by the nippy temperature.

Not only did her white puffball dress expose her shoulders, arms and thighs to the elements, but she paired it with black strappy heeled sandals — these are definitely better suited to a balmy summer evening than an icy January night.

Hardy Northerner Michelle, from Stockport, is clearly made of stern stuff if she’s flashing so much bare flesh in 0c.
