A special forces sky diving trainer braved the "world’s most dangerous lingerie shoot" where she plunged from a 350ft cliff.
Clair Marie, 32, jumped from the height in Arizona wearing just underwear and a parachute.
Plus, the shoot went wrong during the first two jumps with “serious wardrobe malfunctions” but was successful on the third try.
If you’re as scared of heights as we are you’re probably cringing at the thought!
The photoshoot was part of UK brand Bluebella’s #LoveYourPassion Valentine’s Day campaign which celebrates women’s passions around the World.
Would you ever go base jumping? Tell us in the comments…
Modeling for the luxury lingerie brand, Clair is an expert in base jumping (that means parachuting from a stationary point).
She is a professional skydiver and civilian trainer for the US Special Forces as well as a Hollywood stunt woman who’s appeared in films like Tomb Raider.
Clair discussed the shoot, and said: “It took three jumps to get it right.
“It’s not easy base jumping in lingerie and I had a wardrobe malfunction on the first couple of descents!
“Let’s just say there was too much of on display, so we had to give it another try.”
The shoot was planned to the last details as conditions had to be right to keep Clair safe and warm.
The team travelled 1,100 miles to get to the perfect location in the mountains close to Tonto National Forest.
Clair added: “This was a very risky shoot and had to be rigorously prepared.
“Base jumping has a lot more risks than skydiving, even without the added complication of wearing only lingerie.
“A lot more factors come into play, such as weather conditions and the fact that you only have one parachute instead of two, so you’ve only got one chance to get it right.
“If you don’t, then that’s pretty much it.”
And, she’s not kidding.
Previously, Clair broke her neck jumping from a cliff when her parachute opened while she was facing the cliff face.
This caused her to smash into the mountain and badly injured her.
But, that hasn’t affected her passion and she now has 17 years of experience with 10,000 sky dives and 1,000 base jumps to her name.
Clair said: “I was thrilled at the chance to jump for Bluebella.
“I adore their lingerie designs and I respect their belief in female self-empowerment so it really was a no-brainer.
“Their ethos that all women should follow their passion in life is one that I share.
“I guess you could say that when opportunity comes, I jump!”
