We’ve all seen the occasional property listing which makes us say “OMG” due to its tiny size.
In fact, earlier this year a Notting Hill flat went viral after being listed for £1,400 a month despite the kitchen being inside a cupboard.
But, online shoppers were aghast when they spotted the latest ridiculous property online.
A minuscule studio flat was listed on Craigslist costing £398 per month – and people were outraged when they looked at the snaps.
The so-called micro studio in Vancouver, Canada crammed together a bed, shower, toilet, cooking facilities and storage into just one room.
At 160 square feet in total you’d be hard pressed to find a smaller home…
Included in the, admittedly nicely decorated, studio is a mini bar fridge and hot plate so the tenant can cook a meal (not in an oven mind).
And, if they need the loo then they don’t even have to leave the room to use it.
Not sure we’d enjoy keeping an eye on our pasta from the comfort of the throne (although it does look a little too close to student digs for comfort).
There’s a fairly large windowsill, which we suppose could be converted into the dining table, or perhaps the lodger could eat on their bed or over the sink.
The Craigslist advert said: “This unit is ideal for a single individual looking to live downtown at an affordable rate, and who does not need much space.”
You’re telling us…
The advertisement highlights that the room is recently renovated and has porcelain flooring and granite worktops.
Just to give it that extra lavatory vibe?

In Vancouver, guidelines state than any micro-dwelling for a single person must be at least 250 sq ft, reports the Metro.
And, bathrooms must be physically separated from the rest of the unit “to ensure privacy and isolate noise and odours”.
So, it’s not really surprising that the listing has now been pulled from the website.
The average monthly rent for a studio in the west of Vancouver is around £994.
