It's not the absolute cheapest deal out there.
You can get bottles of Châteauneuf du Pape for £7.50 from Sainsbury's, but you have to buy six to get that price and the deal only runs till December 11.

M&S is offering increasing discounts depending on how much wine you buy. If you need lots of wine for an event and are prepared to buy 24 bottles the retailer will knock 15 per cent off. If you only buy twelve bottles you get 10 per cent off, and if you buy 18 you get 12.5 per cent off.
