Miley Cyrus Joined Shawn Mendes for the Most Magical Grammys Performance

Sooo, Miley Cyrus joined Shawn Mendes for a performance of “In My Blood” at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards and no, I am not okay. It started out with a sleeveless (!!!) Shawn serenade, and ended with a powerhouse duet. There was truly something for everyone.

It was such a stellar performance, that even infamous homebody Chrissy Teigen is exhibiting severe FOMO symptoms.

Miley!! honestly every performance really great of course we didn’t fucking go this year

Obviously, the entire internet is LIVING for Shawn and Miley.

Me after Shawn and Miley’s performance #GRAMMYs

miley and shawn have such powerful voices u wont ever convince me otherwise

Although, there are a few salty tweeters out there who were expecting Shawn and Miley to perform something brand spankin’ new.

I thought Miley and Shawn were performing a new song… what was the point of that #Grammys

That’s actually kind of fair, because Miley and Shawn have been teasing us all weekend. On Friday, they performed a cover of Dolly Parton’s hit, “Islands in the Stream” with Mark Ronson.

Honestly, Miley teaming up with someone epic to slay a Grammys performance is kind of the least surprising news ever. She’s a seasoned professional at this point. Remember last year, when she flawlessly performed “Tiny Dancer” with Elton John? It was four minutes of sheer flawlessness.

And let’s never forget about 10 years ago, when she sang “Fifteen” with Taylor Swift at the 51st Grammy Awards. Nope, that’s not just a dream-scenario figment of your imagination. That really did happen.
