A large scale search has been launched after a man went missing while on a lake.
Police, fire and ambulance crews are at the scene of an incident Cotswold Country Park and Beach.
Police were called at 1.40pm, meaning the man had been missing for close to three hours at the time of publication.
The lake is one of dozens of interconnected bodies of water that run throughout the Gloucestshire countryside, Gloucestershire Live reported .
The one currently being searched is about 1km long and 300m wide.
A spokeswoman for South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.46pm to attend an incident in a lake off Spratsgate Lane, Cirencester.
"We have sent various resources to the scene including a hazardous area response team.”
The site includes two lakes, one with a small beach for swimming and boats to hire and another with an inflatable water park.
While the resort's website notes that is was fully booked today, the presence of fire trucks and rescue vehicles ushered in a subdued atmosphere.
One visitor said: “They are still searching for the man. It’s really quiet here.”
A spokeswoman from Gloucestershire Constabulary confirmed emergency services are working at the scene.
