Love Island’s Millie Court shows off results of microneedling session after brave acne snaps

Love Island 2021 winner Millie Court has been treating herself to something of a beauty makeover of late, and the latest step is a spot of microneedling.

The celebrity-loved treatment involves a professional puncturing the skin with a device made up of lots of sterilised needles, which causes the skin to renew for a more youthful appearance. It’s often used to help with skin conditions like acne.

Before the treatment Millie shared a fun snap of her face wrapped in cling film while she waited for the numbing cream to work its magic.

“This is to numb my face before anyone asks wth this is haha," she captioned the Instagram Story, also tagging the Skin Revolution clinic she visited for the treatment.

The 24 year old later shared a picture of her skin post-treatment. "After microneedling," she wrote, "Little bit red, hair mask in, curing my hangover and making me feel loads better too".

Millie has also visited Skin Revolution to help with her adult acne in the past – something she opened up to her fans about recently, sharing some raw photographs of when the condition was at its most severe.

"This feels mad to post up for you all to see me when I was at my lowest, and felt the most insecure I've ever felt,” she captioned one snap. “But if I can help people who feel like I did then that means more to me than anything.”

Millie has been updating her fans on her beauty journey pretty regularly, recently wowing them with the incredible before and after results of her ombré brows treatment after getting them topped up.

The star also ditched her signature mid-length cut for a recent event, instead sporting waist-length waves in a move away from the shorter style we got used to seeing her with in the Love Island villa – as some fans even compared her to TOWIE star Amber Turner.

Don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to see the next instalment of Millie’s beauty makeovers.
