It's been a weekend of celebrations for theRadford familyas they marked a major milestone birthday in the brood.
Aimee Radford turned 17 on Friday (April 21), with the festivities documented on the family's official Instagram page, run by mumSue , 48, with a stunning photo of Aimee posing with huge rose gold balloons featuring the numbers one and seven.
The post read: "The very happiest of birthdays to our beautiful, sweet, caring and just lovely@radford.aimeewe hope you’ve had the best day. Can’t believe you are now old enough to drive."
It's unknown whether the Radford clan threw a big bash for the birthday girl or opted for a more low-key celebration – though, with a family of 22, "quiet" is probably a relative term.
The post dedicated to Aimee's special day generated a lot of buzz, with tons of fans chiming in to send their love and well wishes to the teenager.
One person mentioned that they saw Aimee in the pie shop, The Radford's Pie Company, that dad Noel owns. They wrote: "Happy birthday@radford.aimee . I met you today in the pie shop. Didn't know it was your birthday! Thanks so much for the picture. You made my day. Pie was so tasty@theradfordfamilyxx"
Another wrote: "Happy birthday she looks so like Sophie on this photo.”
A third wrote: "Happy birthday Aimee. Wow can't believe you're 17 now. Times really gone by."
Sue and her husband Nole have 22 kids of varying ages including, Christopher, 32, Sophie, 28, Chloe, 26, Jack, 25, Danie, 23, and Luke 21. They also have Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 17, Josh, 14, Max, 13, Tillie 12, Oscar, 10, Casper, 9, Hallie, 7, Phoebe, 5, Archie, 4, Bonnie, 3, and Heidi 2. Back in 2014, the couple’s seventeenth child, Alfie, was stillborn.
Aimee's birthday festivities come just after her mom’s recent celebration, as Sue turned 48 on March 22nd. Despite keeping it simple with a store-bought cake and a home-cooked meal, Sue's birthday was full of love and well wishes from her family.
Noel, her husband who is 52, kicked off the birthday tributes with a heartfelt post on social media. Alongside a photo of Sue, he gushed, "A big happy birthday to this beauty. We all love you sooooo much. Won't say how old but still younger than me."
Despite the celebrations, it's been a tense time for the Radford family lately, as they've been caught up in a heated family row. Millie, one of their older daughters and a mom herself to Ophelia Jo and Chester Bleu, hasaccused her parents of profiting off their grandkids .
When Sue and Noel surprised the kids with a trip to Florida, they posted it on social media and amassed countless congratulatory comments.
However, Millie took issue with the post, writing: “Cute ?? But you’ve made money from all your grandchildren but you chose your favourites,” she said. “Said my piece, I recall my kids being in the whole 22 kids and counting not a single sight viewing of the rest in there [bar] one ep."
