‘As requested, here’s a simple tutorial on how to create hotel or hospital corners on your beds. Treat yourself to the simple luxuries.’
The first step to getting hospital corners is you should lay your sheet on the bed and tuck it in at the base.
Chantel then said you should lift the side ‘into a triangle’ and tuck the triangle in to the base as well.
Then, simply apply your bedding as usual and give your room a spritz of linen spray to make it feel like a ‘five-star hotel’.
You can also do other small things to elevate your bedroom, including vacuuming your mattress at least once per month, as this will help to get rid of any dirt and grime hiding underneath.
‘Don’t forget to wash your pillows and doonas every three to six months too,’ Chantel said.
The mum added that if you want to, you can also mix baking soda with your favourite essential oil in a glass container and then sprinkle the mixture over your mattress if you want.

Other tips to improve your room is you can ‘anchor your aesthetic’.
‘Using your bed as a focal point, anchor your aesthetic,’ Chantel said.
This may mean investing in some cushions and a throw to add a centrepiece to your bedroom, which you can then build out from when buying other furniture and decorative items.
‘Neutral colours make for a relaxing environment,’ Chantel added.
Chantel recommends figuring out your aesthetic and spending time de-cluttering your bedside as it’s the ‘first area you see when you wake’ (pictured)
Finally, Chantel recommends that you spend some time de-cluttering your bedside.
