THIS summer has been one we won’t forget – even if it is for all the wrong reasons.
But luckily, there’s still been some great style on show – from the celebs giving us serious outfit inspiration from their homes and holiday locations to the cast of our latest TV fashion addiction, the US reality show Selling Sunset. Here, Abby McHale gives out the gongs for the Fab Daily Summer Style Awards.
BEST MATERNITY WEAR
VOGUE WILLIAMS: Being pregnant during summer is never easy, but the Irish model showed all expectant mothers how you can stay stylish and comfy.
While pregnant, the 34-year-old wore a pink poplin dress from H&M, which saw searches increase by 34 percent.
Since Vogue gave birth in July she’s been seen out in both wrap and floral dresses, showing that those same pieces worn throughout pregnancy can work just as well afterwards.
MOST CONFIDENT
KELLY BROOK: Feeling confident in your own skin is something that every woman should aim for and the presenter and model has shown just that.
Talking on social media, Kelly, 40, said she was embracing her curves and encouraged everyone else to do the same.
Posting a series of snaps in swimwear, floaty dresses and plunging necklines, Kelly is looking as gorgeous as ever and we love her body-positive attitude.
MOST GLAM
AMANDA HOLDEN: The BGT judge is as glam as they come, strutting her stuff into the studios in London each morning to present on Heart Radio.
Amanda, 49, has kept things dazzling this summer, wearing structured suits, body-con dresses and pencil skirts.
Even on a coastal staycation, she managed to maintain the glamour in a red bikini that saw online searches surge by 55 per cent, according to Lovethesales.com.
BEST SWIMWEAR
LEIGH-ANNE PINNOCK: Name a colour of bikini the Little Mix star has not been seen in this year.
Wearing 11 different ones over the past few months, Leigh-Anne, 28, started the summer by sunbathing in her garden and ended it lounging by a pool in Greece.
Her love for simple block colour shows that you don’t need to go fancy to nail your poolside look.
BIGGEST TRANSFORMATION
ADELE: Hello, is that Adele we’re looking at?
The singer wowed us all at the start of summer by posting a snap of herself looking radiant in a stylish £595 little black dress from Elzinga.
The 32-year-old has revealed how a self-help book, Untamed: Stop Pleasing, Start Living, has helped her with her transformation. Although we adore her no matter what, we love the fact that Adele is looking and feeling great in herself.
BEST STYLE FROM HIGH STREET
FRANKIE BRIDGE: The Saturdays star posts an Instagram round-up each week called “Frankie’s Faves”.
The 31-year-old loves high-street fashion and in her weekly section she features a range of outfits she’s been admiring that week.
Frankly, we love her sense of style and the fact that she doesn’t just wear designer gear, meaning that we can steal her looks much more easily.
BEST HOLIDAY WEAR
BILLIE FAIERS: She’s the queen of holidays and as soon as lockdown restrictions eased she jetted off to Ibiza to shoot her In The Style range.
Since then she’s enjoyed a staycation and soaked up the sun on a family holiday abroad.
Billie, 30, mixed a range of comfy co-ords for her staycation and wowed in glamorous ensembles for her holiday further afield. Whatever kind of trip she’s on, Billie is giving us serious fashion envy.
BEST ACCESSORY
FACE MASKS: Who would have thought they would become a fashion statement? Now when you leave the house you think, keys, wallet, phone and oh, wait . . . mask.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a floral mask that saw online searches increase by 185 per cent, according to Lovethesales.com.
They may not have been what we expected to wear this year, but we might as well make sure we stay safe and stylish at the same time.
BEST IN SHOW
SELLING SUNSETS: Move over Love Island, there’s a new binge-worthy reality TV show that’s got everyone hooked.
The cast members of Selling Sunsets are the most glamorous estate agents ever, flogging even more amazing houses.
Realtor Christine Quinn struts into the office in neon green heels, butterflies in her hair and killer power suits that put our working-from-home look to shame.
