Sophie Wessex, 57, is in Botswana for a royal tour and has just attended her third engagement of the day, this time in a fuchsia designer gown. The Countess of Wessex opted for a Villamarie Bea Ankle Length Dress which cost £665.

The Countess met the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Lemogang Kwape along with other ministers and dignitaries ahead of a dinner reception at the Gaborone International Convention Centre.

The dress she wore is a V-neck ankle-length dress, with puffy sleeves that contain binding at the bottom.

Sophie’s outfit also featured a bow belt which she tied into a big knot.

For footwear, the Countess stayed in her espadrilles from earlier when she met the President of Botswana.

These were the Penelope Chilvers High Mary Jane Leather Espadrilles in white.

Sophie’s shoes are currently on sale for £69, down from £149.

These shoes were made by “skilled Spanish artisans in the traditional way with authentic hand stitching and woven Meccanica detail.

“The Mary Jane is an established classic design with a closed front and back that will carry you through the warmer days of spring into the heat of the summer,” according to the Penelope Chilvers website.

How did Sophie accessorise?

The Countess wore a pair of Lucia Odeschalchi Lens earrings, which she has worn since 2015.

According to the designer’s website, these earrings are “made with a 925 silver frame mounting round shape hyaline quartz and small white diamond on each of the four points”.

In addition, the “silver is treated with a black oxidised finishing,” and “the hook is in 18k gold”.

Unfortunately, these jewels are no longer in stock.

All day today in Botswana, Sophie has worn her Felt gold chain bracelet with a sliced diamond, which costs £375.

The Countess kept this jewel on for Monday evening’s occasion.

She then opted for her favourite handbag accessory, her Sophie Habsburg limited bean bag in “pink cream few flower”, which costs €310, or roughly £272 in British Sterling.

Royal fans loved Sophie’s style, and took to social media to comment.

Twitter users @Remisagoodboy and @dagmar_Marie77 wrote: “Sophie is always our favourite quick-change artist.”

Similarly, royal fan @irish61j added: “As always, Sophie looks lovely.”

Finally, @devine_moser commented: “Pure class!”
