A CLEVER mum told how an 89p band saved her son after he got lost in a theme park.
The mum, writing on Extreme Coupons and Bargains UK Facebook Group, told how her son, four, got lost at Flamingo Land Theme Park in Malton, North Yorks.
But, because she had written her number on an 89p mosquito band on his wrist, he was found in no time.
She revealed: "It’s every person's worse nightmare loosing someone you love especially In a busy place.
"Our four-year-old little boy got lost at Flamingo Land theme park yesterday and thanks to this little trick he was quickly and safely reunited with us.
"We are camping here and I used these insect repellent bands to write our numbers on.
"I told our children to find someone and tell them they are lost to show them their bands as they have our numbers on.
"That’s just what he did, I was so relieved I burst in to tears when the lady called. He was very upset too.
"He was with me one second and gone the next, it happens to us all at some point.
"I just thought I’d share my tip.

"These bands are from Aldi and Home Bargains.
"Ours cost 89p for two, they do adult and child sizes too. I know you can buy the proper bands but I’m camping so I improvised."
Thousands of people liked her post, adding it was a genius idea.
One mum said: "My friend and i buy these every year for our hols abroad and wear them all week until we get back. Glad you had a great idea about the number and your child was found safe and well."
Another said: "I do this when my lad goes on school trips. He’s to tell someone with a uniform on."
