Meghan Markle wore a £140k outfit for her pre-Christmas lunch with the Queen… while Kate Middleton’s dress cost £305

The Duchess of Sussex, 37, wowed in head-to-toe designer items but it wasn’t her £1,250 Erdem dress that took the outfit cost to dizzying figures.

She is said to have worn an extremely expensive bracelet with her high neck blue and yellow Davina dress.

According to the blog Meghan’s Mirror, this pricey jewellery piece was the diamond and white gold Reflection de Cartier bracelet, which costs £139,000 to buy. Not too shabby!

It’s not the first time she has blinged out with the eye-watering custom bracelet and previously wore it on her wedding day back in May.

In addition to her dazzling bracelet, she also wore her favourite Aquazurra pumps, which cost £496, and a Gillian Anderson soft wool swing coat from Winser London, which is priced at £395.

Meghan’s earrings are also from her wedding and are from Cartier, but the price tag is unknown.

The studs are from the Galanterie collection, and are made from 18k white gold, set with brilliant-cut diamonds – with a price tag that can reach into six figures.

Her outfit may have cost way more than most people earn in a couple of years, but Meghan did wear a recycled dress for the royal occasion.

She previously wore her Erdem dress two years ago when she was presenting a fashion segment on TV.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s sister-in-law Kate had a slightly less expensive outfit for the occasion.

She wore a pink sherbet-coloured dress, which was also recycled from a previous event.

Kate first sported the Stella McCartney creation back in 2011, and although it originally cost £1,425, Kate is believed to have snapped it up for just £305.

The duchess, wearing drop pearl earrings and a pink blouse, gave a wave to photographers as Prince William, 36, drove into the palace grounds.

Meghan appeared to be all smiles as she left the Royal Family's annual Christmas lunch after her first formal engagement with Kate Middleton since rumours of a rift between the pair.

The Duchess of Cambridge had arrived with Prince William, 36, and their two eldest children Harry, five, and Charlotte, three.

Reports have suggested the pair have previously been involved in a "ghastly row", with the Duchess of Cambridge, 36, reduced to tears during Meghan's wedding preparations.

But despite speculation of tensions between the duchesses, the royals descended on Buckingham Palace for the festive celebrations.

The annual lunch gives the members of the Royal family not invited to Sandringham Estate for Christmas Day a chance to spend time with the Queen.

Extended members of the Firm were seen arriving at Buckingham Palace – including Prince Philip, 97.

It's one of the rare times that the elderly royal has been seen after recently retiring from public life.

Despite it being barely a week until Christmas, the royals have continued with their official duties, with the pregnant Meghan Markle completing her final engagement before Christmas this week.

The Duchess of Sussex glowed as she arrived for the solo visit to Brinsworth House – a day after her father accused her of "ghosting" him.

Members of the royal family will again gather at Sandringham House in Norfolk for December 25 to continue their Christmas celebrations.
