Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's pal denies claims they're 'taking time apart' amid rift rumours | The Sun

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry's pal has denied claims the couple are "taking time apart" amid claims the duke "doesn't fit" in LA.

Claims have surfaced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are giving each other space – but have been swiftly denied by an insider.

It was claimed that Harry is hoping to "find himself" – with an insider telling Page Six: "It’s not true, it’s literally made up."

RadarOnline had reported the pair needed space to heal and repair their bond.

But there is no suggestion that the claims about the couple taking time apart are true.

Close pal Omid Scobie also slammed RadarOnline's claims about the couple.

After their whirlwind romance, the pair tied the knot in 2018 in a romantic ceremony at Windsor.

The couple then headed to LA after quitting the Royal Family – moving into a Montecito mansion where they now live with kids Archie, 4, and one-year-old Lilibet.

Meghan has barely returned to the UK since Megxit but Harry has visited for his father's coronation and to appear in court.

It comes after The Sun exclusively revealed Harry had been keen to return to the UK.

A source told The Sun: “Harry was desperate to come back for the Coronation and spend quality time with his family.”

It had led to hopes that his recent solo trip for the event without wife Meghan — who stayed in California for son Archie’s fourth birthday — could have finally helped rebuild bridges among the royals.

Sources said there was a “willingness and wanting to mend on both sides” between Harry and Charles.

Harry’s initial efforts came in the wake of his memoir Spare, in which he attacked Queen Consort Camilla.

This was always seen as a red line that Harry should never have crossed — and may explain the King’s reluctance to speak with him.

And Charles could not find time to meet Harry in March when he jetted back for a High Court case.

But royal sources said in April that Harry has made it clear he wants to spend quality time with his family.

Senior royal sources claim there was no “transatlantic ping pong”, but it is understood the Duke has indicated he missed the UK.
