Kerry King reveals what the Universe has in store for you this week… according to Tarot

Kerry has been practising tarot readings for the last 20 years, starting from reading for friends to amassing an international client list.

Using her strong intuition and deep knowledge and understanding of the horoscope, she is able to provide accurate and encouraging predictions for the coming days.

Here's her predictions for YOUR star sign…

Aries (Page of Swords, Ace of Cups, Four of Wands)

You’re not scared of hard work, Aries, and you’ve grafted this year like a good ‘un. The Four of Wands is a “recognition award” from the Universe, a pat on the back, a reminder there’s more to be achieved BUT, for now, why not take some time to reflect upon, and reward yourself for, a job well done in 2018 (despite all those obstacles).
The Page of Swords is a chancer, a dancer and a romancer and doesn’t take anything TOO seriously, so lighten the load this week and have some fun. The Ace of Cups hints that a new romance could well be on the cards if you become what you want to attract.

Get yourself “out out”, and enjoy the festive scene. A cute Elf could be waiting for you (maybe a sexy Water sign- Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces). What are you waiting for? Go jingle your bells!

Taurus (Ten of Swords, The Moon, Four of Coins)

That dratted Four of Coins is back again this week- the CLASSIC Taurean card, as it represents stubbornness.

Sticking with “better the Devil you know” even when you KNOW it’s not. SO, you’re STILL digging those heels in, eh? Why?

The Moon is a potent card about illusions, secrets and anxiety, so there’s something you’re not prepared to admit just yet.

I know it takes you a while to come to new conclusions, because you mull over each piece of information so carefully.

“Thorough” doesn’t even begin to describe your thought processes…. But, *SPOILER ALERT* this IS going to end up with you leaving something / one / place. The Ten of Swords shouts that this situation isn’t going to improve, and will only get you down the longer you remain stuck in it.

So, think about it all you like, but accept that you need to move forwards. The sooner the better.

Gemini (Ten of Coins, Two of Swords, Page of Cups)

You are used to using your creative talents to make a living (or a significant side line)- it’s you at your best, actually. And the Ten of Coins and Page of Cups shows this is set to continue and be a lucrative, secure course of action.

However, there is a decision to be made. Maybe about what you prioritise or focus on (because I KNOW you like to think you can do it all, but you can’t). The Two of Swords is a “crunch time” card, so don’t put off making this choice any longer. You have lots of talents, but hard work will beat talent every time when talent doesn’t work hard! If you ain’t got time, then you can’t work hard, so don’t put yourself in a losing position because there’s competition around what you do, and you need to bring the “A Game”. Consciously prioritise where you think your creative and self-promotion skills can bring about the most reward. Focus. Zoom in. Decide.

Cancer (Page of Coins, Death, Eight of Swords)

Something (or someone…) you’ve invested in is not feeling quite right, it’s not really working, and though you’re loathe to admit that… it’d be for the best to be honest with yourself here. Death and the Eight of Swords warn against burying your head in the sand, or trying to deny the reality of the situation.

Change is coming, and it is necessary, and you’d be best advised to get ahead of the curve and instigate some changes yourself. Be “the doer”, not the “done to”.
The Page of Coins reassures you that it’s not too late to tweak your course, to reinvest these resources and energies elsewhere. Everything starts small, so don’t pressurise yourself to have the perfect solution in place straightaway.

It’s enough, right now, to acknowledge what isn’t working and withdraw your investment from it. The Universe will fill the void soon enough, and you’ll be clear about what to do next.

Leo (King of Wands, The Tower, The Sun)

There’s drama this week, Leo. Plenty of it, too. The Tower hints that something is going to collapse, in some way. Maybe a situation, role, relationship or even just a belief or understanding you upheld.

Don’t worry, though, because this turbulent chapter DOES have a happy ending, as promised by the presence of The Sun. All’s well that ends well- remember that sentiment as this high-octane week progresses.
The King of Wands reveals the attitude you should adopt here: flexible!

Change is inevitable, and nothing stands still. It’s better to make some bold moves yourself and ride the waves of turbulence than try to hold on to what is being swept away. Inaction is no less risky than action… you just don’t see the opportunity cost of the path you didn’t take.

The King of Wands is a risk taker and knows that if what he does doesn’t work out… well, then he just makes another move.

No problem. Be him, this week, and you’ll see the advantages and silver lining in what’s kicking off.

Virgo (The Tower, Four of Cups, Two of Swords)

A crisis provokes you to make a choice you’ve long put off. The Tower shows up when life gets a little bit dramatic. Now, don’t worry, because whatever unfolds is necessary and, in the long run, for the best. So, don’t panic if you encounter some turbulence this week. The Four of Cups reveals it’s going to galvanise you into taking action about something you’ve long procrastinated over. The Two of Swords is a “crunch time” card, highlighting necessary decisions you’ve been reluctant to face. But now you’re backed in a corner, there’s no way out but THROUGH. So, brace yourself and get stuck in. In every darkness, there is truth, light and a way out, and the sooner you recognise what is going on and decide to address it, the sooner you will find those three things.
Something really good will come from this, I promise.

Libra (Ace of Coins, Ace of Cups, King of Swords)

New beginnings all around you, and ones which have the potential to change your future- for the better! The Aces of Coins and Cups grace you this week, so it’s an ideal time to start writing a fresh chapter.

Whatever you begin now is well starred for the future, as shown by the longsighted King of Swords. He blesses your endeavours, so plant as many new seeds as you can!
New relationships, resolutions, health kicks, opportunities, activities, roles, invitations and investments are all possible.

What would a Future You want you to begin right now? Spend a little time projecting yourself into your “dream future”, and then return to the present with resolve and ambition. This is THE week to change the course of your trajectory. Make it count on every front.

Scorpio (Six of Cups, Seven of Coins, Seven of Swords)

Someone, or something, which you held great love and affection for, from your past is going to return this week, as shown by the nostalgic Six of Cups. It will be a lovely surprise (although maybe I’ve spoilt that somewhat…) but the Seven of Coins hints it will also give you cause to stop and think. Maybe you’ll wonder if what you had is better than what you’ve now got.

Maybe you’ll realise how far you’ve come and be grateful for that progress. Maybe you’ll wonder what else you’ve left behind which could still play a role today.
Pondering is all well and good, but keep these ruminations to yourself.

The Seven of Swords shows that you need to exhibit a degree of tact, diplomacy and discretion here. Give yourself space and privacy to get your head round this reunion, and what it means to you, before you do or say anything out loud.

Sagittarius (Three of Cups, Nine of Swords, The Fool)

The Nine of Swords reveals that you’ve been keeping something to yourself which is bothering you.

It might not even be rational, and it’s certainly looming out of all proportion. So, please drag this anxiety out into the light of day and talk it through. The Three of Cups and The Fool bring a remedy for your fears: FUN!

Both cards represent following our best hopes and revelling in the pleasures of life.

Do things with people you love and like, schedule time for wanton abandon (Sagittarian cat nip), and give yourself a clean slate with things you’ve found difficult or draining.

You don’t need to wait till 01/01/19 to start anew, you can turn the page anytime you like and, if that will help put some stuff behind you, then do so this week.

You are a sparkling kinda’ person, and the festive season is YOUR time, so don’t wallow in troubles which are largely unfounded and unnecessary.

Capricorn (Death, Two of Wands, The High Priestess)

A repeat card from last week, Capricorn (Death) which, along with the procrastinating Two of Wands, means you’re not implementing that new investment as quickly as you’d like (be that a financial, property, education or career endeavour).

Perhaps there are practical delays, perhaps you’re not sure what it is, perhaps you’d rather be spending, than saving, your resources right now… Sometimes delays happen for a reason, I’ll grant you that, and this pause may serve a purpose.

The High Priestess is a potent card of intuition, instinct and hunches. Her presence suggests that maybe you haven’t known what you’ve needed to, in order to invest shrewdly.

And, this week, that knowledge will emerge as like a “lightbulb moment”. Give your subconscious space and time to mull over your options, by relaxing and meditating and keeping things simple.

Keep a notebook handy because, when it’s ready, your inner voice has got plenty to tell you. Illumination which will really light your way.

Aquarius (The Hanged Man, King of Swords, Two of Swords)

There has been a situation in your life which has created a sense of stagnation and limbo.

The Hanged Man reveals the times when we’ve made the sacrifices but not seen the desired progress. It can be frustrating and difficult but, rest assured, this phase is passing you by soon.

The Two of Swords reveals it hinges on a key decision, one which you have somewhat avoided. Maybe the timing wasn’t right… well, this is THE week to tackle it.

The Universe has a piece of advice, in the shape of the King of Swords.

Project yourself into the long-term future to ascertain the consequences of this choice before making it. Don’t automatically opt for what looks easy / fruitful NOW… assess what might unfold in a few months’ or years’ time.

Climb up to take a helicopter view of your life and your trajectory, and visualise the fork in the road you’re now at. Where do those onwards pathways lead?
Do this, then make your choice, and forwards momentum will be swiftly regained.

Pisces (Two of Cups, Three of Cups, Five of Cups)

All Cups cards this week, Pisces, so your emotions are in play and running the show and the theme is relationships.
Everything is changing. It’s unsettling but, ultimately, something you’ve got to embrace and see the good in.
Close relationship bonds are deepening, as shown by the Two of Cups, and (for singles) new romance may well be in the air.

Friendships and family ties are being nurtured by shared fun and festivities, as shown by the Three of Cups. There are plenty of social activities to get involved with, and you’re not short of offers.

But the Five of Cups also reveals there’s a bittersweet taste to this. It makes you remember the people you’re not as close with as you were this time last year, maybe those who’ve passed on, or who you have regrets about.

Embrace the patchwork of your relationship landscape- the bright, the beautiful and the frayed. It’s all a part of who you are. And it’s OK to feel a lil’ bit sad about some of it (but don’t miss out on the fun and love all around you, OK?).
