I’m plus-size & proud but was brutally fat-shamed for wearing a bikini- people don’t understand how hard it is being big

IF you've ever struggled with body image, you'll know just how big a deal it is to wear a swimming costume in public.

As a proud plus-size woman, social media star Brooklyn Dallen has got to a place where she's comfortable wearing a two-piece on the beach.

But on a recent day out, the 24-year-old influencer – who boasts 163,000 TikTok followers for her body neutrality videos – was brutally fat-shamed by a group of total strangers.

In a viral video that's racked up over 375,000 views, Brooklyn was minding her own business and filming herself apply suncream for an advert.

As she got the product out of her bag, someone off camera yelled at her: "You ain't cute."

Choosing to ignore them, Brooklyn started spraying the product on her arms and legs.
