I work at Marks & Spencer, 7 things we hear every day from customers… including the weird product they all love | The Sun

A MARKS & SPENCER employee has opened up about the realities of working at the popular supermarket chain – and what she and other staff members hear every day.

The shop’s TikTok account published a video recorded from their branch in Upminster, Essex.

In it, one of their female team members dances along to a soundtrack as she introduces the video titled: “Things we hear at M&S.”

She then continues to show off her moves, as the phrases appear one by one on the screen – including the food items that people can’t get enough of.

And it seems the popular Colin the Caterpillar cake is one of the most talked about on the shelves, as they said they often hear: “Colin is THE ONLY Caterpillar cake.”

Meanwhile, their Dine in For Two meals are equally as loved, as people often state: “Your Dine In’s are the best.”

But the next question may come as a surprise to some – as the other food item that people continually bring up is none other than coleslaw.

Customers routinely ask: “Where’s the coleslaw?” while looking for the chilled salad.

Perhaps predictably Percy Pigs – the fruit-flavoured sweet popular with both children and adults – also features in the video.

As the female stands in front of a big selection of the confectionery, the words, “I’ve got a FREE pack of Percy Pigs on my Sparks card” – flash up on the screen, referring to the loyalty card for returning customers.
