‘Humble’ Prince Harry spotted in jeans & trainers volunteering for a non-profit organisation providing Covid-19 support

PRINCE Harry has been spotted volunteering for a non-profit organisation which provides COVID-19 support for army veterans and their families.

The Duke of Sussex, 36, was low-key in a pair of jeans, trainers and a face mask as he packaged up fresh food parcels for the Walker Family Events Foundation in Compton last week.

After the visit, the non-profit publicly thanked the royal on their Instagram page.

Alongside the image of the Prince, Walker Family Events co-founder Tia wrote: "Today I had the honor of meeting and working alongside Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

"He joined us in volunteering at Compton VFW for the Operation Nourish program packing and distributing food to our #Compton neighbors."

What's more, the fan described Harry – who stepped down as a senior member of the Royal Family in March – as "very humble and kind".

The organisation Compton Veterans has partnered with the Inner City Child Development and Youth Foundation to deliver weekly food parcels for those struggling in the local community.

The weekly event relies on volunteers to set up the stalls and hand out the fresh food parcels.

Walker Family Events says the coronavirus crisis has had a huge effect on their work – and that volunteers like Prince Harry are "needed now more than ever".

Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were widely criticised by royal commentators after they were pictured laying flowers at the Los Angeles National Cemetery.

Prince Harry was forced to deny the shoot with wife Meghan was a "publicity stunt" after the photographer who took the snaps was named as celebrity snapper Lee Morgan.

The 39-year-old was enlisted by the ex-royals to capture the moment they visited the graves of fallen soldiers after the Prince was allegedly told he couldn't have a Remembrance Day wreath laid at Cenotaph on his behalf.
