German athleisure label, Beastin, has teamed up with Sports Illustrated on a special apparel capsule.
The collection encompasses hoodies and matching sweatpants, cut and sew garments as well as a track jacket with a matching duffle bag. Towel terry pieces are also purveyed in the bold assemblage. The capsule references 1990s sportswear staples, with the duo pinpointing their inspirations to the styles adorned by renowned athletes including Bo Jackson, Charles Barkley, and Deion Sanders.
“To manifest our deep passion for U.S. sports culture and heritage in collaboration with one of the most iconic institutions in sports is arguably one of the greatest moments of our brand’s history,” said Christian Boszczyk, co-founder & Creative Director of Beastin in a statement.
Accompanying the capsule is a selection of bespoke Levi’s denim trucker jackets, a hoodie, matching tee, and camp shirt embellished with the famous Sports Illustrated cover shot of Muhammad Ali by Neil Leifer. Purchase all items in the capsule on Beastin’s website.
