Trisha Yearwood has released her new album Let’s Be Frank, a tribute to legendary Frank Sinatra, through Williams Sonoma.
Yearwood’s new album of Sinatra covers, her first full-length solo record in over a decade, was released on Thursday, December 20 at Williams Sonoma stores nationwide. The record will be available everywhere February 15 on Yearwood’s Gwendolyn Records.
“I’ve talked about doing a standards album for about 20 years now, so it’s been a long time coming,” Yearwood said to Billboard. “The stars aligned when I worked with Don Was a couple of years ago on a Frank Sinatra 100th birthday tribute. We decided to find the time, and make the record together, under the flag of Sinatra.”
Yearwood recorded the album in just four days with a 55-piece orchestra at Capitol Records’ studios in Hollywood.
Yearwood, who hosts the Emmy-winning Trisha’s Southern Kitchen on the Food Network, said, “Working with Williams Sonoma has been the right relationship from the start. Long before we had any Trisha Yearwood product in stores with them, we did book signings for all three book releases, and it just felt like home. Everyone who knows me knows that I have long been a fan and avid shopper with Williams Sonoma, so it just all made sense.”
