‘Today’ host Natalie Morales buys $3.5M cozy condo in Vail

“Today” show West Coast anchor and “Access” host Natalie Morales has a new role to add to her busy schedule: homeowner in Vail, Colorado. She and husband Joseph Rhodes recently purchased a turnkey condo at the Lodge at Vail for $3,525,000.

The 1,454-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath unit was recently remodeled and is just steps from Gondola One.

The Lodge at Vail, the oldest hotel in Vail Village, offers community residents access to an après ski area, two restaurants, a pool and hot tubs, and a bar.

The condo is close to the shopping, dining and cultural offerings of Vail Village.

The listing notes the home from 1969 has an excellent rental history, so it could be easily leased for investment income when it isn’t in use by the owners.

Morales, who has competed in marathons, also seems to enjoy winter sports.

The sale closed in October, and the family may have started using the home soon after.

A self-described “U.S. Air Force brat,” Morales was born in Taipei, and traveled around the world with her parents. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese, and recently published a cookbook, “At Home with Natalie.”

In 2016, she and her family moved from Hoboken, NJ, for new positions with NBC on the West Coast.

The 46-year-old took over for Billy Bush on “Access” while still maintaining a role on “Today” from Southern California.
