Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly, 51, and husband Vernon Kay, 46, tied the knot 17 years ago. The presenting duo share two daughters together: Phoebe, 15 and Amber, 11.
The Strictly host recently opened up about her desire to move to New Zealand in a candid interview.
The presenter explained that whenever she visits her sister abroad, she spends the next couple of months looking for properties to purchase nearby.
Tess revealed her heartbreak as she confessed her youngest daughter has pushed for the family to move to New Zealand, because she wishes to be “close to her cousins”.
The BBC favourite commented that it wouldn’t be “feasible” for the family to move to the other side of the world, due to working on Strictly for five months of the year.
Tess said: “Every time we visit my sister Karen in New Zealand I spend the next two months Googling properties and dreaming of escaping the British winter.
“It’s summer over there and it’s gorgeous.”
“I love the laid-back way of life, the people are friendly, the food’s incredible, the climate’s great, the landscape is beautiful. But it’s not really feasible. “
The small-screen star admitted she has no plans to leave the UK at present, as her children are still in school.
“I work on Strictly for five months of the year, and the kids are in school,” Tess commented.
“You can’t take them to one place or the next because then they spend the whole time catching up.”
She added: “So it’s not really a plausible solution, but never say never.”
Tess’ younger sister Karen Daly currently lives in New Zealand with her family, and the Strictly host admitted she misses her “terribly”.

She continued to Woman magazine last year: “I do miss my sister terribly because we’re so close.
“My youngest [daughter] is forever saying to me, ‘Mummy, can we please move to New Zealand because I just want to be near my cousins?’
“It does break my heart because I grew up with my cousins so closeby.”
Tess added: “We were like brothers and sisters, we played out together, so I’m well aware she misses that time.”
Meanwhile, Tess is set to return to Strictly for tonight’s latest episode of the series.
She will be joined by co-host Claudia and the Strictly judges Motsi Mabusi, Craig Revel-Horwood and Shirley Ballas.
The celebrity line up will be put through their paces as Sunday night’s episode sees the first dancing duo to be voted off the show.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight on BBC One at 7.10pm.
