For the last few months Taylor Swift fans have been convinced that the pop sensation has been getting ready to release a new album.
There have been some wild theories about the singer's next era (known online as TS7) which started circulating after Taylor posted a photo featuring seven palm trees on her Instagram .
The 29-year-old saw the theories and at the 2019 iHeart Radio Awards told Swifties they'd "be the first to know" when she was planning to release new music.
And it seems she's stayed true to her word, as she's currently letting everyone know that she's up to something big and it's coming soon.
On Saturday, April 13, the Shake It Off singer changed her social media to feature pastel pink-coloured photos and added "4.26" into her bio.
She also created a countdown timer on her website and shared it on her Instagram story.
The timer is currently set to go off on April 26th, exactly 13 days from now (13 is the singer's lucky number) and it's very, very likely that we'll be getting a new Taylor Swift hit when the countdown reaches zero.
Fans on social media are understandably freaking out over the prospect of new music, so much so that the hashtag #TaylorSwiftApril26 has been trending for hours.
One person wrote: "IT'S HAPPENING. IT'S HAPPENING. IT'S HAPPENING."
Another said: "Taylor Swift just gave us a countdown for new music and I am crying. Wigs are gonna be snatched on April 26."
A third added: "I DON'T KNOW HOW I'M GOING TO SURVIVE THE NEXT 13 DAYS!"
"Am I going to watch this countdown for hours at a time even though I know it won't make it go any faster? Yes, yes I will," proclaimed a dedicated fan.
Taylor Swift's last album, Reputation, was released on November 10 and sold two million copies in its first week.
It quickly became the biggest album since Adele's 25 was released in 2015 breaking a number of records and garnering award nominations.
It also went on to inspire Taylor's massive Reputation Stadium Tour, which was later named the highest-grossing US tour of all time.
Those who missed out on attending the live show can re-watch the performance in a concert movie on Netflix .
