Stacey Solomon has thanked her fans for their comforting words and opened up on the guilt she feels following the death of her dog Theo.
The 32 year old, who recently gushed over her wedding plans in a throwback snap, took to her Instagram stories to share a photo of her dog Peanut cuddling baby Rose before speaking out.
In the caption, she wrote: "Hello Everyone [red heart emoji] Last night when everyone was sleeping (the time of night Theo would sit on my lap and it would be just us). I saw and read your messages," with a sad face emoji.
"Thank you. I can't even tell you what comfort your kind words brought me. Knowing lots of you knew and cared about theo through here makes me feel so much less alone," she went on with a red heart emoji and a sad emoji.
Speaking out on the guilt she feels, she continued: "I feel so sad and guilty for some reason I don't know why but even with all of those feelings your kind messages made me smile and for that I am so so grateful. Love you all to the moon and back," with a red heart emoji.
Stacey then addressed how her other dog, Peanut, has been doing since Theo's passing, explaining that he's become quite sad.
"Peanut is extremely sad [sad emoji] We are giving him all of the cuddles and love and he is cuddling rose like a hot water bottle so hopefully he will be back to his jumpy happy self soon," with a red heart emoji.
Alongside her note to her 4.9million fans on the social media platform, Stacey shared some of the sweet messages she received.
One person told her: "Aw Stacey I'm so so sorry I can completely relate to how your feeling right now. Theo knew when you needed her the most and was there, you can see the love you all had and that theo had for you all. As much as this video is beautiful it's absolutely heartbreaking and I send my love and condolences to you all," with a crying emoji and two white heart emojis.
Another follower shared: "Oh Stacey! I literally crying right now. Theo has shared so many wonderful memories with you. She was more than just a dog. Some would say more like a nanny . She adored the kids. & welcomed Peanut with open paws. Sending all my love. Xx".
While a third added: "She came into your life when you needed her, but now your family is complete she felt her job was done and it was her time, I'm sorry xxx".
Stacey announced the news of her pet dog Theo's passing on her social media on 28 December as she shared a series of photos of herself posing with her furry friend as well as other snaps showing her children Zachary, 13, Leighton, nine, and Rex, two, snuggling up to her.

Sharing two paw print emojis, she wrote in the caption: "Sweet Dreams Theo [sad emoji] The best friend we could have ever wished for. Our hearts are broken. Yesterday at home in our arms we had to say goodnight to our Theo. 11 wonderful years.
"We were so lucky to love you Fifi and we will never stop. My lap has never felt so empty [sad emoji] I miss you so much already. My little girl. But oh my goodness the memories and the love you brought into our lives," with a sad emoji.
She continued: "Thank you for everything Theo. For protecting me and the boys when we needed it most. For loving us no matter what and for holding on for so long and waiting to meet your little sister Rose.
"Rex has had the best friend in you that he could ever have wished for and the boys have had the best protector in the whole wide world.

"Even though Rex is only little I know him, Zachary and Leighton will never ever forget you.
